THRESHOLD: SNOWFAKE concept album

THRESHOLD: SNOWFLAKE CONCEPT ALBUM recorded at THE DISC studios in DETROIT 1991 a Motown recording studio, mixed and mastered summer of 1992released April 1993.
radio play on WRIF, WLLZ, WOCC, and other regional colleg stations.
 
 THE CONCEPT; Time passes for all and cycles back again! we see a collage of musical scenes based around visions of life that all resonate with the same energy.
through the TEAR DROPS FROM THE SKY, we see the life of Man represented in beginning of spring which is the end of the last cycle and the beginning of the next through "winters wake" the innocense of life through the eyes of a child as he learns of loss yet has no undestanding of it. we experience the growth of self through the spring and summer as we listen to "MUSIC BOX,""WARM SUMMERS BREEZE," and "DAYBREAK"  through to the love of life and his love of a woman, the protagaonist of our story grows into the fruits of manhood and blossoms with the love of his life. 
   Much like life itself there is a bit of greek theater or shakesperian tragic comedy involved as the seasons pass so to does mankind, as the sunsine of his life falls ill our hero finds himself in dak territory, his love has become terminally ill as the leaves on the tree's begion to slumber under the spell of Morpheus, she drifts from this world to the next like the leaf lost on the breeze in the winds of Autumn.
RAGE overwhelms his sensibilities and his sanity is ripped from him much like the love of his life, as he lashes out in anger and rage at god himself for playing with him as if he were a toy or plaything.
finally in Act III, of our play, our hero; HAMLET'S FALLS from grace as he comes to terms that he can no longer live with just a picture in a frame, and chooses to join his love, knowing they were destined to be together regardless of this life or the next.
stepping through the TRESHOLD of the hereafter, our hero Hamlet discovers the truth of the life & death cycle as he returns from the passage of the seasons back to the dying throws of seasons end, as the TEAR DROPS FALL FROM THE SKY once again and the songs of the SNOWFLAKE echoes through Eternity.
 
Dedicated to Dave Bilyeu lead singer, performer, and co-writer of the snowflake concept album, who left this life all too early in a chemical exposure accident teaching chemistry as a professor in New York. you live on through your work.
